Description
Duration: 6 days
Course Overview:
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is one of the most widely recognised process-improvement credentials in industry, combining Lean's relentless focus on eliminating waste with Six Sigma's rigorous, data-driven approach to reducing variation. Organisations that build genuine Green Belt capability move beyond ad-hoc fixes toward structured, measurable, and sustainable process improvement and this programme is built to develop exactly that capability.
This intensive six-day programme moves through six connected modules — Define, Lean Enterprise, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control mirroring the DMAIC methodology at the core of Six Sigma while dedicating a full day to Lean thinking and tools. Participants progress from framing and scoping a project, through rigorous measurement and statistical analysis, to building solutions and embedding controls that make improvements stick.
By the end of this programme, participants will be able to define and scope a Lean Six Sigma project with a clear project charter, apply core statistical tools including hypothesis testing, regression, and process capability analysis to validate root causes, integrate Lean tools such as 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, and Poka-Yoke to eliminate waste, and build control plans and SPC charts that sustain improvements over time. Participants will leave equipped to lead their first Lean Six Sigma project back at work.
Audience:
Executives, Engineers, Senior Executives, Senior Engineers, and Managers from all departments.
Professional Certification Pathway (Optional):
As an accredited provider, our curriculum aligns with the Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC) standards. Standard tuition includes comprehensive training and a course completion certificate. For participants seeking global industry recognition, an optional pathway to earn official CSSC Certification is available for an additional assessment fee.
Prerequisites:
No formal prerequisites. Basic familiarity with spreadsheets (e.g., Microsoft Excel) is helpful for the statistical exercises in the Measure, Analyze, and Improve phases, though all statistical concepts are taught from first principles.
Methodology:
This is a highly interactive training course where delegates participate and learn through presentation and group discussion. Mode of training: Online and face-to-face in a training room.
