Description
Duration: 2 days
Course Overview:
Many organisations talk about continuous improvement, but building a genuine CI mindset requires more than good intentions; it requires practical, shared tools that every level of the operation can use. Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt is designed to give exactly that: a practical, accessible grounding in Lean and Six Sigma that turns line leaders, technicians, supervisors, and executives into active Lean Practitioners.
This focused two-day programme moves through eleven connected modules, starting with the foundations of Lean thinking value, waste, flow, pull, and the pursuit of perfection before introducing Six Sigma's data-driven approach to reducing variation. Day 2 applies this thinking through the DMAIC framework, walking participants through Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control using accessible, hands-on tools.
By the end of this programme, participants will be able to identify customer and business value and spot waste in their own processes, explain how Lean and Six Sigma work together to drive performance, and confidently lead or support a Kaizen project using tools such as 5S, Poka-Yoke, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, SIPOC, and basic process capability analysis. Participants will leave with a first Kaizen opportunity identified and ready to pursue back at work.
